Scene Around Town: Earth Day 2001

It could not have been a more beautiful day. Hundreds of people came to Hawerlak Park to celebrate the environment, learn about conservation and listen to some great music!

Earth Day was a success. People lined up in droves for the delicious vegetarian food and to learn about organizations that work to protect and preserve the environment. Here is a look at some of the sights from the day.
