






Scene Around Town: At the Playground
Swings, slides, merry-go-rounds . . . schoolyard playgrounds hold many memories for us as adults.
This is a photo essay taken at the Parkview Community playground in the West End. While
the equipment may be newer and more complicated (some of the things there look like they were taken from a Navy S.E.A.L.S.
training camp), I was still able to lose myself for a few moments as I climbed, slid and swung.
And yes, I even got some sand in my shoes.
These photos were taken from a modern, artistic perspective. I hope you enjoy them.
