Anyone who has spent any length of time on the University of Alberta campus notices the many unusual sculptures that grace the insides and outsides of several buildings, particularly Fine Arts. Indeed, there is a lot of art on campus, mostly done by students and left on display.
In fact, these sculptures have been the source of controversy, with complaints pouring in from people who find certain of the rusting, brown structures an eyesore rather than art. They demand that the sculptures be removed, that they are an embarassment to the campus. Here is a photo tour of some of the art you can find on campus.
