What a rollercoaster our weather has been this season!
Winter started out like Spring, Spring started out like Summer, then went into Fall, the back into Winter. Finally, i think things have stabilized, and we are alternating between our two warmer weather seasons of heat and rain. I love gardening; especially planting seeds that will later turn into fruits and vegetables I can eat. But for a while there I was really wondering if I would have a chance to plant my garden this year. By the time the Victoria Day weekend came around, things were still looking pretty iffy. But, I am glad to say, sunshine prevailed and I now hope that in a couple of months, I will happily be chomping upon a salad made up of carrots, spinach, and cucumbers, and perhaps even enjoying some watermelon and cantaloupe for dessert (hey -- I just wanted to be different). That is, if the frost doesn't come too early.
