Heritage Days is a time of dance, song -- and, of course, food! Countries and cultures that are respresented in Edmonton gather in Hawerlak Park for three days of festivities. Dancers in traditional dress perform, ethnic music fills the air and the aroma of food entices everyone who passes by.

Thousands of people descend upon Hawerlak Park during the three-day long weekend. Since cars are not permitted into the park for this event (except for the performers' vehicles), everyone has to either walk, cycle or take the special shuttle buses that run back and forth between Hawerlak Park and several of the City's shopping centres.
